Does the machine need a subscription?
No. Every machine fully works without a subscription. Safety features and basic artist guidance are free and work offline. Plans add extras, not permission to run the machine.
Which edition has auto-depth?
PRO has motorized auto-depth with artist override. SE adds suggested depth per skin profile; S is manual.
Do all courses run on every machine?
Yes. Every course adapts to S, SE or PRO. Unsupported drills are skipped or watch-only. A hardware upgrade unlocks compatible extra lessons in the same course.
Can the AI take over my work?
The AI suggests; the artist decides. Every setting can be changed by hand. When you change speed, depth or settings, the AI learns your preferences while continuing to watch for blowout risk, line problems and fatigue.
How are clients identified?
By name, key tag or QR code, never face recognition. Optional pose/depth checks support consented presence workflows.
Can I change cartridges during a session?
Yes. Supported SE/PRO session controls let you swap liner and shader freely for one client. Ending the session retires its cartridges. Multi-day work starts a new session each day.
Which machine supports classroom and apprentice levels?
PRO. It supports the multi-machine mentor workflow, five locked levels, mentor cues and full compliance/camera features.
Is the station camera inside the machine?
No. Station camera, LiDAR depth sensing and AI artist voiceing run on the artist’s own phone or iPad. The PRO Tip Camera sees only the needle point.
What is included in the App Pro trial?
S duration: [3 months]. SE duration: [6 months]. PRO: 12 months. The bracketed S/SE periods need confirmation. Features remain limited by edition hardware.
Is Tatau Strike available now?

Can a camera verify disinfection?
No. Camera/checklist evidence supports the shop’s process. The artist must complete appropriate cleaning and disinfection; an image cannot establish that a surface is disinfected.
